Issue 2 - featuring Datacloud

Datapop x Datacloud Global Congress 2025: Where Data Centres Became Pop Culture

In collaboration with Datacloud Global Congress 2025 to celebrate their 20 years, the second issue of The Data Centre Colouring Book debuted in Cannes, featuring the Datapop Art Show, a commemorative sticker design, and creative engagement with industry leaders.
Creative Collaboration

Colouring the Clouds in Cannes

For Datacloud Global Congress’ 20th anniversary in Cannes, Datapop Art worked with the event organisers to transform the Palais des Festivals into an unexpected celebration of digital infrastructure.
Two installations showcased artwork from The Data Center Colouring Book. The main exhibition in the Equinix Innovation Theatre featured bold new pieces from issue 2, including the circuit-board aerial of Cannes, the viral Data Centre Dress meme artwork, and a portrait of the Data Centre Marketing Club. The second installation, located in the Press Foyer, presented artwork from issue 1. Guests were invited to explore both editions, take home copies, and see how the project has evolved.
Datacloud also incorporated the artwork into its event branding, including the official commermorative laptop stickers, which helped create a unified and highly memorable moment for the community. The response was immediate and overwhelmingly positive. Hundreds of attendees visited both installations, and the exhibit gained strong visibility on LinkedIn through posts and mentions from Datacloud, SPA Communications, AVK, Data Exec, and many industry leaders.

The collaboration succeeded in turning servers, cooling systems, and key figures from the sector into pop icons, which helped humanise digital infrastructure and celebrate the people who build it. The Datapop Art Show sparked new conversations and collaborations, and it set the stage for the upcoming release of Issue 3 on Energy, which will continue to expand Datapop’s growing awareness across the industry.

Data never looked so good! We're proud to feature London-based artist Michael Jurado at Datacloud Global Congress, bringing a bold, creative lens to the world of digital infrastructure.
