The Datapop Art Show is set to make its debut this June at the 20th anniversary of Datacloud Global Congress, held in the iconic Palais des Festivals in Cannes.
The solo exhibition, created by artist and creative director Michael Jurado, brings together art, technology, and cultural storytelling through The Data Center Pop Art Colouring Book – a publishing project that transforms digital infrastructure and the people behind it into bold, pop art icons.
The exhibit will feature two original installations, each tied to one of the book’s two published volumes:
Visitors can also pick up complimentary copies of both books during the event.
As the digital infrastructure world grows exponentially, so does the need to humanise it.
The Datapop Art Show celebrates the people, hardware, and hidden beauty behind the networks that power our daily lives.
By introducing art into this space, Jurado hopes to inspire the next generation of engineers, designers, and thinkers to see infrastructure as not just functional — but cultural.
With its bold visual storytelling and unexpected medium, the exhibit encourages attendees to reflect on the physical, human, and emotional layers behind the cloud.
Set against the backdrop of Datacloud’s 20th anniversary, this show adds a creative spark to a globally recognised event – one known for shaping the future of connectivity, data, and infrastructure.
Whether you’re a veteran of the industry or curious about its future, The Datapop Art Show invites you to experience the digital world through a completely new lens.
Catch the exhibit at Datacloud Global Congress 3-5 June 2025 in Cannes.
